Manager, Supplier Relationships (Procurement)

Location: Hybrid schedule with in-person work three days a week at hirify.global Headquarters, 4000 Jones Bridge Road, Chevy Chase, Maryland, United States. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $121,823.94–$152,279.92 annual hiring pay range.

What you will do

• Lead market research, RFP development, supplier selection, and the full sourcing cycle.
• Define how AI is used across sourcing, contract review, supplier research, and spend analysis.
• Negotiate pricing, service levels, renewals, and contract terms with suppliers.
• Manage supplier performance, risk evaluations, lifecycle changes, and catalog support.
• Direct and coach a small sourcing team while maintaining productivity, efficiency, and accuracy standards.
• Partner with the Office of General Counsel, purchasing leadership, and internal stakeholders on procurement requirements, policies, templates, and due diligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and eight or more years of progressively responsible procurement experience.
• CPM, CPSM, or CPIM certification.
• Experience with supplier negotiations, SLAs, contract renewals, cost analysis, spend benchmarking, and ROI calculations.
• Ability to use AI tools for contract review, spend analysis, and supplier research while applying independent judgment.
• Experience directing team work, coaching employees, and providing actionable feedback.
• Eligibility to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Procurement experience in an academic or research environment.
• Experience with contract management software beyond Microsoft Office.
