Strategic Sourcing Manager (Indirect) (HEALTHCARE)

Location: Hybrid work in Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Utah with in-office attendance three days per week; remote work is available when outside commuting distance of a Cambia office.

Expected hiring range: $125,000–$145,000 per year; bonus target: 15%; full salary range: $95,000–$155,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and influence category strategies for complex indirect spend categories, including professional services and business process outsourcing.
• Lead strategic sourcing events and the seven-step sourcing process, including category strategy development, RFx processes, and contract management.
• Negotiate contracts and statements of work to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Analyze spend, markets, geographic considerations, business cases, and financial models to support sourcing decisions.
• Present contract executive summaries, obtain approvals, and manage governance requirements.
• Build relationships with strategic suppliers, internal business partners, and Supplier Relationship Managers to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field, plus seven years of sourcing, contracting, or related experience.
• In-depth knowledge of indirect sourcing, category management, contracting principles, applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience leading major sourcing events with stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Strong project management, leadership, change management, negotiation, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
• Ability to analyze spend and financial data, develop business cases, and translate data into persuasive information.
• Ability to work within the stated U.S. locations and hybrid office schedule when within commuting distance of a Cambia office.

Nice to have

• Consulting experience demonstrating strong strategic sourcing capabilities.
• Experience with AI tools and technologies for productivity and decision-making.
