Sr Staff Sourcing Manager - Facilities & Construction

Location: Madison, Wisconsin, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $141,600–$212,400 base salary annually, plus eligible bonus or commission and potential equity.

What you will do

• Plan and execute strategic sourcing and category management for Facilities and Construction.
• Develop category business plans, analyze global markets and pricing, and provide procurement support.
• Negotiate, implement, and manage complex supplier contracts and business terms.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Procurement, Legal, Quality, Regulatory, and Development to manage vendors, control spend, and mitigate risk.
• Manage critical supplier agreements, including implementation timelines, reviews, extensions, terminations, and periodic updates.
• Report contract status and advise management on supply sources, commodity pricing, costs, and supply-demand trends.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 8 years with a master’s degree, or 5 years with a PhD; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience leading vendor management, category management, strategic sourcing, and cost-saving initiatives for Facilities and Construction.
• Experience negotiating supplier business terms, including forecasts, lead times, sourcing strategies, and price reductions.
• Ability to understand technologies used in products, parts, and services and assess related supply and business risks.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
