Senior Procurement Manager (Biotech)

Location: Piscataway, New Jersey, United States; onsite four days per week with remote flexibility on Fridays

Salary: $150,000–$160,000 annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Manage service, CapEx, and material purchasing activities.
• Design and execute procurement strategies focused on cost control, savings, sourcing efficiency, and vendor management.
• Lead cross-functional teams in procurement planning and process execution.
• Conduct price negotiations, contract signing, order fulfillment, and on-time delivery management.
• Resolve supplier issues involving delivery delays, pricing, and quality, while managing supplier performance and relationships.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of six Purchasing Specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in purchasing, operations, or supply chain, preferably in a pharmaceutical or CRO environment.
• Expertise with purchasing systems such as SAP and S2P.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Leadership, accountability, self-discipline, and motivation.
• Ability to work onsite in Piscataway four days per week, with remote flexibility on Fridays.

• Experience implementing an S2P system.
