Maintenance Tech (Packaging)

Location: Donna, Texas, United States; onsite plant work with availability for any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed

Salary: $23.46–$25.94 per hour, depending on experience, plus an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical AC/DC, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain plant equipment and facilities to increase productivity and reduce downtime and waste.
• Respond urgently to machine downtime events.
• Follow safety and company policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Complete in-house equipment training and attend external training when required, including occasional overnight travel.

Requirements

• At least three years of industrial maintenance experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems, industrial equipment, and technical drawings.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Own basic hand tools; special and heavy tools are provided.
• Strong communication, computer, troubleshooting, organization, and process-environment skills.

Nice to have

• Technical degree or comparable experience repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
• Experience in the corrugated or packaging industry.
