Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift (Manufacturing)

Pay: $35.50 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and plant machinery to support continuous production.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment systems.
• Diagnose PLC-controlled equipment, Allen-Bradley controllers, ladder logic, and electrical controls.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, equipment setup, adjustments, and reliability activities.
• Document maintenance work and communicate equipment issues and repairs to production and plant leadership.
• Follow GMP, quality, food safety, and workplace safety requirements while supporting weekend and overtime maintenance as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, safety procedures, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while prioritizing multiple tasks.
• Ability to pass required written and practical testing through BATC.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand English is required for safe and effective job performance.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in maintenance mechanics or a related technical field.
• Maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Training or experience with PLC programming, Allen-Bradley controllers, ladder logic, electrical controls, and industrial automation.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, food manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods.
