Dir Storage & Compression Engineering

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; office environment with occasional travel to company offices and facilities.

What you will do

• Lead technical training, consultation, diagnostic services, and troubleshooting support for storage and compression operations.
• Rationalize and oversee major capital expenditures and O&M projects that improve facility safety, compliance, integrity, reliability, and efficiency.
• Direct natural gas compression and dehydration engineering, regulatory compliance, plant testing, and equipment performance standards.
• Develop and maintain O&M standards, specifications, work procedures, records-management systems, and qualification assessments.
• Provide technical support to engineering project managers, marketing, and gas control for facility design, construction, operations, and modifications.
• Manage functional budgets, staffing, employee development, performance evaluation, and achievement of area objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of professional management experience in gas operations, or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership experience managing engineering and technical support teams.
• Deep technical knowledge of natural gas compression systems, dehydration processes, and surface facilities.
• Demonstrated success managing capital projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to communicate, persuade, and influence senior management on technical and complex matters.
• Advanced knowledge of software applications for complex documents, reports, and graphics, plus algebraic, trigonometric, geometric, statistical, or accounting skills.
