What you will do

• Lead engineers and technical specialists supporting operations and improving the operability, maintainability, and reliability of existing pipeline assets.
• Coordinate with business development, commercial development, operations, and internal and external business partners.
• Supervise project managers, consulting engineers, construction inspectors, and contractors.
• Participate in the planning, commissioning, and start-up of new and modified facilities.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting, regulatory compliance, optimization, start-up, and turnarounds.
• Manage workforce planning, career development, budgets, forecasts, schedules, safety, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field from an ABET-accredited college or university, or an engineering technology degree with a Professional Engineer license and relevant experience.
• At least six years of engineering experience; experience in natural gas, petrochemical, or a related industry is required, with eight years specified for the engineering technology and P.E. pathway.
• Experience in at least three areas including operations, design, engineering, project management, business development, construction, environmental work, or front-line supervision.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with safety as the highest priority.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and PC-based tools.
• Ability to analyze, develop, and implement process improvements, documentation, and reports.

Nice to have

• Previous leadership experience.
• Professional Engineer certification.
