Director, Remote Operations Control Center (Air Separation)

Location: Independence, Ohio, United States; hybrid work schedule. The role requires overnight travel of up to 15% and visits to office, manufacturing, hirify.global, and customer locations.

Salary: $160,000–$190,000 per year, plus bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the strategic direction and daily operations of the Remote Operations Control Center.
• Oversee the safe, reliable, and efficient remote operation of Air Separation Units and support production targets.
• Coach and develop ROCC managers, shift leaders, technicians, and individual contributors.
• Make data-driven operational and engineering decisions, troubleshoot issues, and develop cost-benefit cases for improvements.
• Collaborate with supply chain, production, and process engineering teams to improve end-to-end supply chain performance.
• Guide remote troubleshooting, operational procedures, safety protocols, and Q-APC methodology improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline is strongly preferred.
• Air Separation Unit experience is required.
• 10+ years of industry experience and 3+ years of prior management experience.
• Ability to analyze large quantities of data, derive operational and margin insights, and build cost-benefit cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, facilitation, networking, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to work across office and manufacturing environments.
