R&D Scientist (Materials Chemistry)

Salary: $95,406–$143,108 base salary per year, plus a performance-related bonus plan

What you will do

• Execute daily research activities for new product development and provide technical expertise on Alpha sinter products.
• Develop and formulate new sinter pastes and related products while analyzing data against project goals and milestones.
• Design, supervise, and interpret quality-control techniques and protocols for formulated materials.
• Conduct application analyses for new products and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with Global R&D, project management, marketing, and potential clients on current and future silver sinter products.

Requirements

• PhD in chemistry or MS in a related discipline, with one to five years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Advanced knowledge of materials chemistry and organic synthesis, supported by peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
• Experience analyzing research literature and developing, optimizing, and scaling complex material manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with analytical methods and characterization techniques for evaluating material properties.
• Strong mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, technical writing, communication, project ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and specialized scientific software for data analysis and reporting.
