TL;DR
Assembly Test - 2nd Shift (RF) (RF testing and electronic assembly): Testing RF assemblies and printed circuit boards with an accent on network analyzer operation, soldering, mechanical assembly, and quality inspection. Focus on interpreting detailed test procedures, identifying non-conforming materials, and performing root cause analysis.

Location: Onsite in Denver, Colorado; work performed at the Littleton, Colorado facility. Second shift: 3:00–11:30 PM, Monday–Friday.

Salary: $40,210–$63,558 per year, with possible annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium.

What you will do

  • Test printed circuit boards, RF assemblies, and subassemblies using network analyzers, predetermined setups, and detailed test procedures.
  • Use voltmeters, scales, fixtures, bench tools, and manual or automated soldering equipment.
  • Prepare components and assemble PC boards using adhesives and mechanical assembly tools.
  • Read assembly drawings and follow written and verbal instructions from engineering and supervisory staff.
  • Inspect completed work against company quality standards and applicable IPC and J standards.
  • Create non-conforming material reviews and perform root cause analysis when required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic mechanical and soldering skills, including the ability to work with tiny components under magnification.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and the ability to operate automatic soldering equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed test procedures, assembly drawings, and verbal instructions.
  • Strong quality orientation, time management, prioritization, and willingness to seek help when needed.
  • Access to ITAR-controlled products and technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.

Nice to have

  • At least one year of RF test, soldering, or mechanical assembly experience.
  • J-standard certification and IPC-610 certification.
