Electronic Assembler (Weekend Shift)

Location: Hollister, California, United States. Onsite weekend shift, 5:00 AM–6:00 PM, Friday through Sunday. U.S. citizenship or the ability to obtain required U.S. government export authorizations is required.

Hourly salary: $20–$37, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Perform production assembly operations on electronic components and complex subassemblies.
• Assemble, modify, rework, and reassemble units using drawings, visual aids, schematics, and written instructions.
• Hand-load PCB assemblies and solder components of different sizes, including fine-pitch components.
• Solder under a microscope using lead and lead-free solder.
• Identify component values, repair soldering anomalies, and incorporate drawing callouts into assemblies.
• Support continuous improvement in the electronics production process and attend offsite training when required for certification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship or eligibility to obtain required U.S. government export authorizations.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, customer and engineering drawings, visual aids, and schematics.
• Good mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling.
• Ability to work the weekend schedule from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday through Sunday.
• Flexible, self-directed approach with effective planning, execution, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• IPC-J-STD certification or related training.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 electronic assembly acceptance standards.
