Sr Accountant (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Prepare daily and monthly plant production, inventory, shipment, and cost accounting reports in SAP.
• Track capital projects, maintain fixed asset ledgers, analyze capital expenditures, and close completed projects.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts with subsystems and analyze general ledger balances.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries for month-end and year-end close and support annual budgeting.
• Support accounts payable, investigate issues, participate in audits, and assist with quarter-end and year-end activities.
• Develop reports, support special projects, and provide backup for plant administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, public accounting, or audit.
• Interest in pursuing a CPA license and eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• Work onsite in Claremore, Oklahoma.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.
