Corporate Staff Accountant (Manufacturing)

Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA; onsite role with occasional travel

What you will do

• Support month-end close by reviewing subsidiary submissions, publishing foreign exchange rates, and maintaining consolidation-system account mappings.
• Prepare consolidation entries, reconciliations, intercompany reports, and consolidated financial statements.
• Compile monthly financial reporting packages and participate in subsidiary financial review meetings.
• Support quarterly and annual close activities, including 10-Q and 10-K filings, variance analyses, audit tracking, and audit requests.
• Assist with acquired-company integrations, intercompany funding, chargebacks, lease audits, inventory-count reviews, and internal-control initiatives.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses, special projects, BEA reporting, and finance training or conference coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience or relevant internship experience.
• Knowledge of SOX, US GAAP, and IFRS.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Ability to perform frequent computer-based work and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Progress toward CPA certification and/or an MBA.
• Experience in a global manufacturing environment.
