Accounts Payable Analyst (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage electronic invoice approval workflows, invoice coding, data entry, check processing, payment documentation, physical check mailing, and filing.
• Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and company purchasing card transactions accurately and on time.
• Maintain vendor files, including W-9s, W-8BENs, banking information, and related compliance documentation.
• Review invoice taxability, process 1099s and state filings, and respond to vendor invoice inquiries.
• Support month-end close and internal and external audit requests while identifying AP efficiency and automation opportunities.
• Oversee and train associates on payment processing functions as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounts payable experience required.
• Manufacturing industry experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and financial reporting.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP ERP.
