Location: Los Angeles, California, with live event work on location in Pasadena

Salary: $25+ per hour, commensurate with experience and skill level

hirify.global operates KTLA, which produces live television coverage including the Emmy Award-winning Rose Parade broadcast.

What you will do

  • Coordinate pre-production, live event, and post-production tasks for the Rose Parade broadcast.
  • Assemble script books and complete rundowns, schedules, itineraries, and related production materials.
  • Manage OneDrive files for executive producers, writers, and producers, including scripts, rundowns, and production schedules.
  • Book travel and meetings, manage the Executive Producer's calendar, and coordinate call times and promotional appearance information.
  • Support executive producers, producers, directors, writers, and talent during location scouts and show preparation.
  • Oversee and delegate work to a Production Assistant during script printing week and provide clerical and telephone support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in film, communications, marketing, management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in live television, scripted production, or a related field; production coordinator or APOC experience is required.
  • Advanced administrative and PC skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and OneDrive.
  • Knowledge of live show rundowns, scripts, and script formatting.
  • Excellent organization, time management, written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and professional telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, handle confidential information, and work effectively in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

  • Internship experience at a television station or production company.
  • Familiarity with all aspects of live event production.
