Seasonal Part-Time TOC Operator

Location: Inglewood, California, United States. Onsite presence at an hirify.global office or stadium is required; remote and hybrid options are not offered.

Salary: $60.06 USD per hour

National Football League (hirify.global) operates sports media and live broadcast productions, including hirify.global Network programming, games, and major league events.

What you will do

• Operate broadcast routing systems and manage split routes for video content distribution.
• Monitor waveform displays, test bars, audio meters, and analog, digital, and SMPTE 2110 signal flows.
• Perform sync, fax, transmission, and other technical checks before live shows and remote events.
• Troubleshoot audio, video, synchronization, and other broadcast signal issues, escalating problems to Operations and Production Management.
• Coordinate with Media Production, Newsroom, hirify.global Films, Engineering, Remote Operations, Master Control, hirify.global clubs, and external transmission providers.
• Prepare broadcast reports and document on-air issues while supporting captioned content for hirify.global streaming platforms.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a broadcast operations environment.
• Experience with 2110, HD/SD, ASI, JPEG, and MPLS signals, including troubleshooting signal paths.
• Knowledge of broadcast routing, waveform and audio monitoring, transmission checks, and common signal problems.
• Familiarity with EVS IP Director ingest server systems.
• Strong written, oral, organizational, and telephone communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
