Freelance Production Assistant

Location: New York City, NY; onsite

Salary: $19 per hour

What you will do

• Work as a production assistant or runner during game telecasts.
• Log hockey and basketball games and identify highlights.
• Research statistical information and storylines.
• Support the Feature Producer during remote ENG shoots and edits.
• Provide professional experiences for guests, partners, and team members while following onsite appearance and presentation guidelines.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of sports, especially the NBA and NHL.
• Knowledge of television production operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Availability for weeknights, weekends, and holiday shifts.
• Ability to sit for extended periods at a monitor and operate control devices and software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
