Production Intern (Video Production)

Location: Knoxville, TN, United States

Salary: $18 per hour; paid internship lasting 8.5 weeks, from September 23, 2026, through November 20, 2026, with a maximum of 25 hours per week.

What you will do

• Support producers with research, scheduling, casting, location scouting, and production documentation.
• Handle department administration, including booking crews, contacting talent agencies, arranging travel, ordering equipment, and maintaining supplies.
• Assist producers and project managers with logistics for studio and location shoots.
• Provide on-set support as a Production Assistant, including assisting stylists, art departments, clients, talent, and freelance crews.
• Take notes during creative and pre-production meetings and support production leads throughout the shoot week.
• Complete special projects and prepare files, orders, budgets, scripts, and research materials.

Requirements

• Relevant work or life experience, current enrollment as a senior in a bachelor's program, or recent graduation in Media, Marketing, Advertising, or a similar field; a degree is not required.
• At least one year of experience working with or studying video, photography, or editing.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, deadline management, and scheduling skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate effectively, and communicate tactfully with producers, directors, creatives, and production teams.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and various social media platforms.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable car.
