Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; travel to client sites typically less than 25% as needed

What you will do

  • Develop and implement environmental compliance programs, procedures, training, and management systems.
  • Manage compliance assessments, audits, risk controls, and regulatory reporting for multiple clients and facilities.
  • Lead air quality, SPCC, NPDES and stormwater, EPCRA Tier II and TRI, wastewater, and hazardous waste compliance activities.
  • Prepare permits, client deliverables, proposals, budgets, and technical documentation.
  • Build and lead project teams, delegate assignments, mentor junior staff, and manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
  • Develop client relationships, identify new projects, coordinate with account teams, and interface with regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field from an accredited university; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 15 years of industrial multi-media environmental compliance experience in a consulting environment.
  • Knowledge of CAA, RCRA, EPCRA, NPDES, SPCC, SWPPP, and federal and Washington State environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated project and client management experience, with strong written, oral, organizational, communication, and data management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical, and motor vehicle records check.

Nice to have

  • Professional Engineering or another professional license.
  • Experience in retail, high technology, food and beverage, power generation, forest products, manufacturing, and commercial environments.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
