Senior Environmental Engineer

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; field work at client sites and up to 5% travel

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skills

What you will do

• Manage environmental projects involving engineering, water quality, stormwater management, groundwater, soil assessment, and remediation.
• Conduct field work at client sites and collect groundwater and soil data.
• Lead project data collection and research activities.
• Prepare environmental compliance documents, permits, plans, and procedures.
• Interact with customers and clients while managing project tasks and contributors.
• Support business development through proposal preparation, client acquisition, and expansion of existing services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 8+ years of environmental engineering experience with industrial, municipal, state, and federal clients.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards in environmental technical areas.
• Strong oral and written communication, time management, organization, and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Petroleum Restoration Program.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
