Construction Superintendent - Mega Project (Blue Point)

Location: Modeste, Louisiana, United States; onsite construction role with regular domestic and international travel

What you will do

• Direct greenfield construction execution for the Blue Point Facility, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and aligned with start-up objectives.
• Coordinate project managers, contractors, field leadership, operations, maintenance, EHS, procurement, controls, and other project functions.
• Lead scheduling, risk reviews, constructability reviews, resource planning, logistics, material coordination, and package turnover.
• Manage project records, change orders, RFIs, expenditures, invoices, contracts, and cost-control processes.
• Champion site safety and environmental controls through inspections, audits, incident analysis, emergency preparedness, and corrective actions.
• Oversee contractor quality processes, inspection plans, QA/QC hold points, offsite fabrication inspections, and commissioning documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or verified construction experience.
• 10+ years of verified experience in construction execution leadership.
• Experience with field-erected tanks, large-bore pipe welding, vessel internals, large rotating equipment, electrical contractors, crane and rigging, marine, building, civil, and greenfield construction.
• Experience with construction site movement and logistics, refractory systems, catalyst materials, and high-output burner systems.
• Strong communication, collaboration, self-management, technical decision-making, and commercial decision-making skills.
• Ability to travel internationally and within the United States and to acquire, maintain, and possess a passport.
