Construction Superintendent (Energy Infrastructure)

Location: Remote, United States — based on Kodiak Island, Alaska; onsite construction leadership is required.

What you will do

• Lead direct subcontractor workforce and control field and construction management activities onsite.
• Support the Project Manager with project planning, critical-path management, submittals, material deliveries, schedule updates, productivity, and changes.
• Supervise timely and cost-effective installation of contracted work.
• Develop work sequencing, project schedules, logistics plans, and early-stage construction activities.
• Provide project status updates, reports, documentation, technical assistance, and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, safety requirements, industry standards, codes, and federal and local regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of construction experience, including 5 years in commercial or government construction as a site superintendent or similar role.
• Ability to review confidential United States security information and work on Kodiak Island, Alaska.
• In-depth knowledge of construction scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower, quality control, building systems, and project management regulations.
• OSHA 30-hour Certification required.
• Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication, presentation, and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.

Nice to have

• Mechanical or electrical construction background.
• EM-385-1 Certification.
• Primavera P6 experience.
