Superintendent III (Advanced Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead assigned field construction activities across complex life sciences, food and beverage, and advanced manufacturing projects.
• Manage subcontractors, trade partners, craft personnel, field engineers, and support staff.
• Develop construction sequencing, work plans, and look-ahead schedules while monitoring productivity and manpower utilization.
• Drive safety, quality, installation verification, and resolution of constructability and coordination issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, design managers, engineers, commissioning teams, owners, inspectors, and trade partners.
• Support commissioning, startup, system turnover, closeout, field documentation, and Lean Construction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
• 15+ years of construction experience, including leadership of field activities on complex industrial, life sciences, pharmaceutical, mission-critical, or advanced manufacturing projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and process systems, construction means and methods, and commissioning and turnover processes.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and coordinating trades with limited oversight.
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, and subcontract documents and resolve field execution challenges.
• Ability to mentor assistant superintendents, project engineers, and junior field leadership personnel.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30 certification.
• Design-Build or EPCM project delivery experience.
• GMP manufacturing, data center, or mission-critical construction experience.
• Lean Construction, Last Planner System, BIM/VDC coordination, startup, commissioning, or CQV experience.
