Project Superintendent

Location: Irving, Texas, in the Dallas region; applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

What you will do

• Review design and construction documents for constructability, phasing, temporary protection, site logistics, and field execution risks.
• Establish and enforce project expectations for safety, quality, housekeeping, conduct, and hazard response.
• Plan site logistics, coordinate trade contractors, and maintain momentum from mobilization through project completion.
• Interpret construction documents, coordinate permits and inspections, review submittals, and manage pre-installation coordination.
• Maintain punch lists, daily progress and safety reports, trade contractor evaluations, and timesheet approvals.
• Assess project performance against goals, develop contingency plans, revise construction strategy, and resolve disputes in line with contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Minimum five years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role such as Foreman or Superintendent.
• Training in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication.
• Ability to plan work, recognize safety concerns, and promote a safe culture among project partners and trade contractors.
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and supervision of large trade and subcontractor groups.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Procore, BIM, and Microsoft Project, plus an understanding of job cost accounting.

Nice to have

• Leadership experience across multiple projects ranging from $500K to $5M and larger projects up to $40M.
• OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, or other safety and quality certifications.
