Engineering Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support manufacturing operations through engineering tests, process evaluations, production trials, and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing process issues, identify root causes, and support corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor manufacturing equipment, output, and process control charts.
• Collect, analyze, and document process data, measurements, testing results, and failure analysis findings.
• Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, technical reports, and material movement spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams; train manufacturing personnel on equipment and procedures.

Requirements

• Typically 1–3 years of related manufacturing, technical, or engineering support experience; the posting also references 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, technical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, CAD files, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical reporting.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to safely work around machinery, chemicals, hazardous waste, and production processes; ITAR-controlled products and technical data are restricted to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related technical field.
• Experience with equipment maintenance, process control, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
