Engineers Technician I (Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, Texas; site in Burnet, Texas. Onsite role with a 3-2-2-3 day shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. after training and certification.

What you will do

• Start, monitor, and troubleshoot purification systems.
• Decontaminate manufacturing equipment and perform sampling, filling, and final product inspections.
• Collect chemistry samples and submit them to the laboratory for analysis.
• Maintain laboratory areas, including preventive maintenance, supply ordering, cleanup, and waste disposal.
• Support on-time delivery of high-volume products from manufacturing through shipping.
• Propose and implement improvements focused on productivity, cost savings, safety, and quality.

Requirements

• 0–1 years of experience in a technical field such as chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of decontamination, valve building, harvesting, filling, and morph solids.
• Previous chemical handling experience, troubleshooting ability, and good communication skills.
• Ability to follow work instructions and standard operating procedures, maintain consistent attendance, and meet daily production demands.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lb and push up to 130 lb.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Inventory management knowledge and SAP experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45000.
• Training experience and the ability to respond flexibly to new situations and multitask.
