Engineering Technician II - 2nd Shift - (T2)

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and subsystems at system and component level.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and quality notifications.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing according to engineering and manufacturing specifications.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal descriptions.
• Maintain logbooks and test-procedure documentation while following safety and security procedures.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to understand how the engineering or manufacturing team integrates with other teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for documenting and exchanging technical information.
• Willingness to follow required health, safety, equipment, and protective-equipment procedures.
