What you will do

  • Plan routine, unplanned outage, and turnaround work orders across instrumentation, electrical, rotating machinery, and fixed-equipment disciplines.
  • Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance requirements, including PM jobs and equipment data in SAP CMMS.
  • Prepare SAP schedules and support event schedule development and progress tracking in Microsoft Project.
  • Evaluate spare-parts needs, create inventory requisitions, and maintain supplier and service-provider contacts.
  • Coordinate and supervise safe maintenance execution, including major turnarounds, tank outages, and plant restoration projects.
  • Support maintenance budgeting, backlog management, contractor compliance, and continuous improvement based on planned-versus-executed work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering plus two years of industry experience; or a construction management degree plus four years of industry experience; or five years of chemical-industry planning experience; or at least five years of operations experience with strong mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical abilities.
  • Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) required.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems and scheduling software; SAP, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word proficiency is desired.
  • Demonstrated maintenance data-analysis skills and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • In-depth knowledge of process equipment, including troubleshooting, failure diagnosis, and recognition of damage mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of product-storage systems and marine, rail, and truck loading systems is desired.
