Maintenance Planner (1st Shift)

Location: Morrisville, North Carolina, USA; Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

What you will do

• Schedule preventive, planned, emergency, project installation, decommissioning, and outage maintenance with minimal disruption to production.
• Coordinate and prioritize work orders, staffing, labor estimates, parts availability, and maintenance strategies.
• Develop weekly and planned PM work schedules and support crafts with work scoping.
• Investigate maintenance problems, analyze root causes, and drive corrective resolutions and continuous improvement.
• Maintain technical records, preventive maintenance plans, equipment locations, and bills of materials in SAP/CMMS.
• Prepare daily maintenance reports using activity logs, analysis, and performance trends.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a maintenance planner role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, or another electronic maintenance system.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance, parts identification, and mechanical drawings.
• Problem-solving, communication, organization, planning, and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently.
• Computer skills and the ability to use measuring instruments, follow purchasing guidelines, and learn maintenance activities quickly.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in a mechanical or industrial program.
• Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Six Sigma.
• Previous SAP experience.
