Technical Service Trainer

Location: Onsite at the service training center in Sussex, Wisconsin, USA

What you will do

• Train technicians on generator repair and installation across the hirify.global product range.
• Develop and present technical training curricula.
• Write and review owner, installation, diagnostic, flat-rate, service, and training documentation.
• Establish warranty flat rates for new product prototypes.
• Work with internal departments to fabricate training units and support generator startup, operation, and troubleshooting instruction.
• Drive for work-related duties as a non-CDL DOT driver and occasionally travel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of field technician experience in HVAC, automotive, generator, or a similar discipline, or a combination of field technician and technical training experience.
• Technical aptitude with basic generator startup and troubleshooting.
• Strong technical writing, presentation, and instruction skills.
• Ability to develop testing plans and manage shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Familiarity with hand tools, test equipment, and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice to have

• Associate's or bachelor's degree.
• Curriculum development experience.
• Technician Excellence or ASE certification.
• Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system.
