TL;DR
Technical Trainer (Power Generation): Developing and delivering site-specific operator, simulator, and instrumentation and controls training for gas turbine and steam turbine power generation projects with an accent on customer-specific programs, operating procedures, and plant operations expertise. Focus on researching technical documentation, advising plant operators, and delivering training during domestic and international field assignments.
Location: Orlando, Florida, United States; office/site only. Requires willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.

What you will do
- Develop and present site-specific customer operator training programs and operating procedures for gas turbine, industrial steam turbine, and related power generation projects.
- Support the development and delivery of simulator and instrumentation and controls training for customers and internal personnel.
- Build and communicate custom technical training programs for specific customer and internal applications.
- Advise and mentor personnel on power plant operational issues.
- Ensure training programs meet customer needs while staying within time and budget requirements.
- Research technical materials and organize drawings and information for training development.
Requirements
- Vocational degree or military experience, plus 5+ years in power plant operations and maintenance or an equivalent background.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and controls knowledge related to power plant equipment.
- DCS control systems knowledge is highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and meet customer needs.
- Fluent spoken and written English is required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
