Technical Trainer (HVACR)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; regular travel to hirify.global sites, customers, and industry events may be required. Travel expectation: 60–70%.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annually.

What you will do

• Deliver instructor-led, electronic, web-based, and multimedia training for customers, contractors, wholesalers, end users, OEMs, and employees.
• Conduct standard and customized classes according to customer requirements.
• Coordinate course content with subject-matter experts and Product Managers to meet learning objectives.
• Evaluate and improve training materials while maintaining current knowledge of HVACR technologies and industry developments.
• Participate in engineering, product planning, industry forums, and HVACR educational communities.
• Train and mentor training specialists and serve as the lead customer contact at training events.

Requirements

• Five years of experience as an HVACR technician, wholesaler, educator, or in an equivalent HVACR industry role.
• Experience with residential controls and components.
• Ability to present to groups, facilitate learning programs, and apply effective adult-learning practices.
• Strong customer service, verbal, written communication, collaboration, and technology skills, including Microsoft products, PCs, and mobile devices.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Degree in an HVACR-related field.
• Seven years of related experience.
• Experience analyzing audiences and presenting material clearly to small or large groups.
• Online or in-person participation in HVACR educational communities, including video creation, online forums, or industry conferences.
