Service Technician (Natural Gas)

Location: Levelland, Texas, United States; on-site field work with entry to customer premises

What you will do

• Respond to customer service requests, including gas connections and disconnections, as operator qualifications are completed.
• Inform customers about required repairs, answer basic questions, and confirm satisfaction with completed work.
• Install, program, and operate Wireless Meter Reading equipment; read meters and record usage when required.
• Support natural gas and other emergency response activities, including standby duty, call-outs, shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain accurate records and reports and identify, address, and report safety or encroachment issues.
• Safely operate and inspect assigned company vehicles and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license meeting company standards.
• Ability to complete and maintain Operator Qualifications, on-the-job training, safety training, and other required certifications.
• Ability to use web-based company resources for data entry, reference, and information retrieval.
• Ability to communicate factual information with internal and external customers.
• Ability to lift up to 53 pounds, walk 500 feet, work on ladders and roofs, enter confined spaces, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
