SCR Technician (Natural Gas Power Generation)

Location: Covington, Georgia, United States. Onsite field work with a schedule of two weeks on and one week off, working 12-hour shifts.

What you will do

• Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions, coordinating with vendors when needed.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and verify the operation of selective catalytic reduction systems.
• Load and unload catalysts and handle hazardous materials in confined spaces.
• Remove, install, disassemble, assemble, clean, and inspect equipment components.
• Read electrical wiring diagrams and schematics, apply failure protocols, and maintain electronic records.
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite while following required safety practices.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment and system operation.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with integrity, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds for extended periods during certain jobs.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to use appropriate safety equipment and practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with emissions equipment, analyzers, or chromatographs.
