Equipment Technician/Gas Chill - Permian Basin

Location: Odessa, Texas; onsite role with extensive travel to hirify.global treating plants across 13 states

What you will do

• Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and operate natural gas processing refrigeration and amine treating plants.
• Repair and service compressors, pumps, cooling fans, motors, valves, pressure control equipment, and related mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform plant operations duties and respond to area callouts and after-hours emergencies.
• Train others in routine operation and maintenance of refrigeration and natural gas treating equipment.
• Maintain preventive maintenance, repair, equipment availability, oil usage, and parts inventory records.
• Follow EH&S regulations, operating procedures, maintenance procedures, and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of experience in natural gas treating and/or refrigeration mechanical work is considered.
• Working knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and compressor repairs.
• Knowledge of electrical meters, instruments, and mechanical tools, including amp meters and voltmeters.
• Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving history, basic computer skills, and effective troubleshooting and documentation abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and withstand extreme weather conditions; availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and after-hours callouts is required.
