Equipment Technician/Gas Chill - Tyler, TX (Natural Gas Refrigeration)

Location: Tyler, Texas; onsite work across a group of hirify.global treating plants in 13 states

What you will do

• Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and operate natural gas processing refrigeration and amine treating equipment.
• Work with compressors, pumps, cooling fans, pressure control equipment, valves, motors, electrical equipment, and related mechanical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document repairs, equipment availability, and oil usage.
• Maintain parts inventories and train others in routine equipment operation and maintenance.
• Respond to after-hours callouts and emergencies and perform plant operations duties as needed.
• Follow EH&S regulations, operating procedures, maintenance procedures, and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of experience in natural gas treating or refrigeration mechanics is considered.
• Working knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and compressor repairs.
• Ability to use amp meters, voltmeters, mechanical tools, and basic computer systems.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving history.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, withstand extreme weather, work independently and with a team, and respond to callouts after regular business hours.
