Electrical Construction Project Manager

Location: San Jose, California; onsite

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, paid weekly and based on experience.

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and execute multiple electrical construction projects of varying scope and size.
• Coordinate project resources, field supervision, engineering, customers, subcontractors, and internal support teams.
• Prepare bids and quotes, coordinate design-build work, and obtain plan check approvals.
• Review contracts and project documents, negotiate change orders, and manage subcontractors.
• Track schedules, costs, billing, cash flow, expenditures, and monthly project projections.
• Lead project meetings, mentor project engineering staff, support job safety, and complete closeout activities.

Requirements

• More than five years of experience managing electrical construction projects or a combination of trade, education, and relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, methods, materials, electrical systems, codes, labor agreements, and compliance regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and BlueBeam, with an understanding of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
• Strong organization, communication, reasoning, ownership, leadership, and customer focus.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Estimating experience with Accubid.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or business.
• LEED AP and OSHA 30 certifications.
