Strategic Account Executive: U500 (Hybrid; Chattanooga/Knoxville)

Location: Hybrid role based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with Chattanooga/Knoxville coverage

What you will do

• Build trusted, long-term relationships with key client decision-makers.
• Provide forward-thinking recommendations based on industry and market knowledge.
• Engage with stakeholders across client organizations to align strategies and influence outcomes.
• Use financial and underwriting expertise to support cost management and demonstrate the value of health benefit solutions.
• Drive growth, earnings, retention, relationship expansion, and renewals.
• Coordinate with underwriting, distribution partners, and internal teams to deliver strategic solutions and address client service needs.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in health benefits, account management, or another client-facing role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Financial acumen and familiarity with underwriting principles.
• Experience managing complex client accounts.
• For occasional or permanent home working, cable broadband or fiber internet is required with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in sales, marketing, underwriting, or operations.
• Demonstrated success growing a book of business and driving client outcomes.
