Sr PM - Major Construction

Location: Augusta, Maine, United States; on-site office work

Salary: $116,600–$145,800 per year

What you will do

• Manage the design and execution of Level 4 distributed generation interconnection projects.
• Coordinate distribution system, substation, and transmission upgrades as required.
• Build collaboration across interconnections, planning, schedule, and cost-control teams.
• Manage internal staff, external contractors, and cross-functional business partners.
• Track project schedules, costs, performance, and overall results.
• Provide strategic advice to senior management and manage regulatory, political, customer-funded, and operational considerations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marine science, or architecture with 7 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Project management, communication, influencing, negotiation, dispute resolution, and analytical skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to coach and mentor team members while working effectively in a changing, multitasking environment.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Project experience.
• Knowledge of SAP for project cost control.
• Strong project organization and continuous-improvement capabilities.
