Project Manager II (Electrical Construction)

Location: Broadview, Illinois, United States; onsite work in a company-designated office or field location

Salary: $90,000–$170,000 per year, paid weekly

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned electrical construction projects.
• Prepare construction schedules, look-ahead documents, progress reports, billing information, and project deliverables.
• Prepare labor and material cost estimates, bills of material, field take-offs, and cost evaluations.
• Monitor job costs against budgets and support change-order preparation.
• Coordinate project meetings, field walk-downs, customers, subcontractors, construction personnel, and internal stakeholders.
• Review project documents for accuracy, report progress to management, and support construction personnel throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of specifications, proposals, project documentation, the National Electrical Code, and relevant local codes.
• Ability to read civil, architectural, structural, and mechanical plans and specifications related to electrical work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating software such as Accubid or equivalent, and Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
