Project Manager II (Electrical Construction)

Location: Broadview, Illinois, United States; onsite work in a company-designated office or field location

Salary: $90,000–$170,000 per year, paid weekly and based on experience.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operations and general oversight of assigned electrical construction projects.
• Prepare construction schedules, look-ahead documents, progress reports, billing information, and project deliverables.
• Prepare labor and material cost estimates, field take-offs, bills of material, and purchasing documentation.
• Monitor job costs against budgets and report project status to management.
• Coordinate clients, subcontractors, construction personnel, and internal and external stakeholders, including field walk-downs and estimate reviews.
• Review project documents, submit requests for information, and assist with change orders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of specifications, proposals, project documentation, the N.E.C., and relevant local codes.
• Ability to read civil, architectural, structural, and mechanical plans and specifications related to electrical work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating software such as Accubid, and scheduling tools including Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer; visa sponsorship is not available.
