Wage & Hour Associate

Location: New York City, United States; onsite

Salary: $212,500–$282,500 per year, plus eligibility for annual bonuses

What you will do

• Litigate employment-related claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act, New York Labor Law, and other state wage-and-hour laws.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration.
• Handle wage claims, hour cases, and class or collective actions.
• Advise employers on wage-and-hour compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution programs.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• At least 3 years of experience; an employment law background is strongly preferred.
• Current New York Bar admission or ability to obtain admission.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professionalism, collegiality, teamwork, and the ability to work independently.
