Labor & Employment Associate (Employment Law)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States

Salary: $185,000–$220,000 annually

What you will do

• Handle employment litigation and employment counseling matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings.
• Attend court conferences and manage discovery-related activities.
• Conduct investigations and prepare position statements and dispositive motions.
• Draft employee handbooks and workplace policies.
• Work extensively with client representatives and opposing counsel.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree.
• Admission to practice law and good standing in Colorado, or eligibility for prompt admission in Colorado.
• 3+ years of legal experience, preferably in employment litigation or employment counseling.
• Excellent analytical, writing, organizational, multitasking, and client service skills.
• Strong interest in pursuing employment law as a career.
• Excellent academic record, such as graduating in the top 25% of the law school class.
