Production Supervisor

Location: South Brunswick, NJ, USA; onsite role on the third shift starting at midnight

Salary: $61,558–$87,940 annually

What you will do

• Supervise production operations and ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor production flow, shipping efficiency, and on-time order completion using ZPro and Oflow.
• Execute batch production activities, maintain specifications, and ensure accurate production documentation.
• Partner with Quality on product standards and lead deviation investigations aligned with CAPA.
• Drive 6S and continuous improvement initiatives while coordinating maintenance, calibration, and repairs to maintain equipment uptime.
• Lead shift reporting and shop-floor tier meetings, and coordinate with warehouse and office teams on operational needs and escalations.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience analyzing process data and using laboratory equipment such as pH meters, densitometers, and particle size analyzers.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, OSHA requirements, and food or chemical manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP or similar systems.
• Ability to manage inventory accuracy, including batch reconciliation and backflushing, and demonstrate mechanical aptitude with production equipment.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment and meet physical job demands, including lifting and pushing or pulling materials.

• 3–5 years of experience in food or chemical manufacturing.
