Select Commercial Lines Regional Manager (Commercial Insurance)

Location: Washington, DC; Blue Bell, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; or Norfolk, VA. The role is associated with in-person regional operations in the United States.

Salary: $122,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Recruit, manage, train, coach, and develop the Select Commercial Lines Account Management team.
• Lead strategies to maintain client retention at 92% or above and support upcoming renewals.
• Optimize the Select Commercial Lines book of business through account management, outsourcing, segmentation, and service-model improvements.
• Develop carrier relationships, renew policies on time, resolve service issues, and conduct quality audits.
• Manage workload, staffing levels, acquisition integration, and segmentation transfers with regional and national stakeholders.
• Support new business growth, cross-selling, referrals, and a sales-oriented service culture.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in a commercial property and casualty insurance agency.
• Prior managerial experience and the ability to manage others effectively.
• Active state Property & Casualty insurance license required.
• In-depth knowledge of agency management systems, underwriting, sales, service processes, and workflow procedures.
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office; Sagitta and ImageRight knowledge is preferred.

• ARM, CIC, or CPCU designation, or willingness to pursue one.
