Commercial Lines Producer

Location: Hybrid role in North Mankato, Minnesota, USA

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 annual

What you will do

• Prospect actively for new commercial insurance customers and identify their business needs.
• Present relevant insurance products and services through telephone calls, letters, personal visits, and formal proposals.
• Review client files to identify cross-selling opportunities, uninsured exposures, and service needs.
• Collect premiums according to agency standards and meet annual producer sales objectives.
• Work with the marketing manager on company submissions and selecting potential insurance markets.
• Promote the agency and insurance industry within the local community.

Requirements

• Property and casualty insurance license required.
• At least 1 year of commercial insurance experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and demonstrate exceptional telephone demeanor.
