Commercial Lines Producer

Location: Hybrid role in North Mankato/Mankato, Minnesota, USA

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 annually

What you will do

• Acquire new commercial insurance customers through prospecting, calls, written outreach, and personal visits.
• Identify business needs and propose relevant insurance products and services.
• Develop and deliver formal insurance proposals.
• Review client files to identify cross-selling opportunities, uninsured exposures, and service needs.
• Collect premiums according to agency standards and achieve annual producer sales objectives.
• Work with the marketing manager on company submissions, market selection, and community promotion.

Requirements

• Property and casualty insurance license required.
• At least 1 year of commercial insurance experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate an exceptional telephone demeanor.
