Broker (Commercial Insurance)

Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado, USA; Denver, Colorado

Salary: $75,000–$100,000 annual

What you will do

• Advise clients on commercial multi-line insurance products and develop customized coverage solutions.
• Build relationships with agents, brokers, carriers, and colleagues across Hull & Company and Brown & Brown.
• Manage the current book of business and provide excellent customer service.
• Review and analyze risks, obtain required information, and identify opportunities to access and cultivate new markets.
• Provide guidance and training to the Assistant Broker.
• Maintain compliance with government agencies and corporate policies while keeping insurance knowledge up to date.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in commercial multi-line insurance.
• Sales- and production-driven mindset with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to manage carrier relationships, analyze risks, and maintain confidentiality.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
• CIC or CPCU candidacy preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a paperless environment.
• Experience with an excess and surplus lines underwriting agency or company.
