Workday Senior Analyst - Advanced Compensation (Location Flexibility)

Location: Open to any US-based market; work may be performed from home, an office, a client site, or another relevant business location, with in-person attendance required when business needs warrant it.

Salary: $81,900–$139,700 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Research, specify, develop, test, and implement enhancements to Workday Compensation processes and technologies.
• Define requirements and design solutions for compensation plans, eligibility rules, compensation reviews, merit planning, bonus planning, and related initiatives.
• Conduct discovery sessions with HR, Compensation, business leaders, project sponsors, and project teams to analyze and validate requirements.
• Configure, administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Workday Compensation functionality, integrations, and automations.
• Support annual compensation cycles, testing, production deployments, Workday releases, governance, and continuous improvement.
• Train and coach Talent Technology staff, HR partners, and system administrators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced working knowledge of Workday HCM, Workday Compensation, or another HRIS platform.
• Experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, process improvement, stakeholder management, and training skills.
• Ability to work from a US-based market and attend in person when business needs, collaboration, client service, development, or travel require it.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Compensation plans, eligibility rules, Compensation Review, Merit Planning, Bonus Planning, reporting, dashboards, calculated fields, business process configuration, and security concepts.
• Experience supporting annual compensation cycles, testing, configuration, production deployments, and Core HCM solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML, or related technologies.
