Manager, Site Procurement and Material Control (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the site procurement and materials control team in delivering annual and long-term business goals.
• Own and transform procurement processes at the site while improving accountability, governance, communication, and KPI reporting.
• Develop sourcing strategies focused on productivity, supplier performance, cost reduction, supplier qualification, and risk management.
• Drive procurement planning, contracting, and execution for turnarounds and capital projects.
• Implement best practices, process standardization, technology adoption, supplier innovation, and procure-to-pay optimization.
• Coach and develop team members while participating in site leadership, safety, reliability, and community initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in an industrial environment, including knowledge of chemical manufacturing and major capital projects.
• Knowledge of procurement practices such as negotiation, demand management, sourcing, bidding, contracting, supplier performance, and risk management.
• Knowledge of SAP and Coupa or Ariba procurement systems.
• Demonstrated people leadership, results leadership, strategic thinking, coaching, complex problem solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Procurement or supply management certification.
• MBA.
• Experience in an industrial plant or chemical manufacturing environment.
