Sr Procurement Specialist (Medical Manufacturing)

Location: Warrendale, Pennsylvania, United States; requires travel at least 30% of the time and the ability to obtain a valid passport.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end sourcing strategies and purchasing activities for assigned production categories.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate with, select, and award suppliers.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and Statements of Work while addressing cost, risk, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Develop supply continuity plans for plant build plans and spare-part demand.
• Monitor supplier quality, delivery, order accuracy, pricing, and performance, including supplier capability visits.
• Maintain SAP purchasing data, create material numbers and vendor profiles, and coach other Procurement Specialists.

Requirements

• English: effective speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension required for policies, training materials, and workplace communications.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5–10 years of procurement or purchasing experience with industrial or medical production goods.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Good knowledge of SAP ERP and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers at all organizational levels.
